To make the repair i sanded down all points of contact between the picket and fence rails using 80 grit abrasive to remove any old glue and grime.
Rinse it off completely and dry with another cloth.
I then marked the center point of the loose picket to align with the rail marks.
A fence post mender will fix your fence post by strengthening it and you don t have to worry about digging a hole with a post hole digger.

Push the rail into the post holes until the rail hangs in place.
