If you have a lot of cracks you may prefer to use dry concrete mix or concrete patching compound instead. Prepare the cracked area for patching. Fill it the crack can then be repaired and filled with something as simple as concrete caulking for hairline cracks or concrete sealer designed to fill larger cracks. Pour the wet mix into the cracks and use the pointed end.

Use a flat edge trowel to force the mixture deep into the cracks. Make the mixture a thick consistency and pour in on the cracks. You should also use a trowel to compress the material firmly into the crack. A standard concrete mix that contains gravel works best for patching large or deep areas.

Instead use a concrete repair mix. Cracks up to inch in width can be filled with sealant. Choose your concrete repair product. Put the mix or compound in a large bucket and add water as directed on the label.

Fix the concrete crack with your selected repair product. Fix cracks in concrete. Pour enough dry concrete mix into a 5 gallon bucket to repair any cracks and patch damaged areas. Concrete surfaces cannot be repaired with concrete.

Next mix up enough quikrete concrete resurfacerwith water in a five gallon bucket to fill the cracks.
