Carpet has the same thickness as a pressure plate it has a hitbox of 1 16 of a block and covers the entire surface of the block it is placed on. I am using 1 11 2 on the server and cannot seem to find a mod which allows me to make carpet float without adding in mob spawning or a solid invisible block that you can t walk through.
