Use a garage floor epoxy to protect your floors from stains and hot tire pickup.

Preparation sanding of epoxy resin. As the name suggests this can also be used with water as the abrasive grains are applied to a special waterproof fabric. The fine walnut felt and looked much like 80 grit sandpaper. The anti skid additive is applied to the mix of the final coat in order to create a surface which is soft enough to walk on in your bare feet but gritty enough to prevent slip accidents in slippery.

Use the best paint for your garage floors. Then pour across the floor the contents in ribbons. Grinding the floor can take many passes and depending upon how smooth you want to make it can require the user to progressively change the grinding disk from a low coarse grit to a high one. Use a pad sander with 80 grit sandpaper to etch in corners and other places.

Try adding new colors and textures. A painted garage floor can make all the difference. Use sandpaper to remove it. Probably best to broadcast upon the coating.

We carry multiple all grit sizes types of non slip additives. Attach fine grit sandpaper to a pole sander hand sander or floor sander. Rent a floor buffer screening attachment and 80 grit sanding screen. Wet sanding involves carefully sanding from coarse grit from grit 120 to grit 1000 in circular movements.

The non slip grit will tend to disperse itself evenly across the floor s surface this way. Rinse with clean water. Epoxy coating is most popular for garages but it can be used on driveways as well. You can use concrete floor paints on all your concrete surfaces.

Sand the floor with the buffer to etch the finish. Single coat epoxy with anti slip grit added the easy solution is a garage floor paint or an epoxy garage floor coating with anti slip grit added. You can then roll and back roll the coating. The process begins with wet sanding.

When you are applying a thinner water based epoxy kit or a polyurethane top coat you will be working by rolling the contents out of a paint tray. You get a thick hard glossy surface that lasts. Surfaces coated with high gloss epoxy may become slippery. Wet sanding sandpaper is used for this.

Non slip floor coating additives. I applied the various grits to our cm 15 epoxy paint which is a med thick epoxy similar to floor epoxies or marine epoxy both by mixing in and by broadcasting on top. 180 grit sandpaper is a good choice. Comments are for both application methods.
